DB Cargo Class 66 no. 66129 and its coal train are recessed alongside the old High Level station at 10.50. It's waiting for a clear path down the branch to Cardiff, and onwards to Aberthaw Power Station. The train is the 6C45 10.54 Tower Colliery to Aberthaw Power Station, so has clearly left early!

Opened by the Vale of Neath Railway in 1851 the old station closed in 1964, and looks remarkably intact, albeit derelict!
