SD18 no. 6634 sits alongside the DeBruce Grain elevator at 16.45, the pigeons disturbed from their feeding on the spills. This former Southern Railway SD24 is a rare beast, it being rebuilt by C&NW into an SD18. It would have once had a high nose. This is the real attraction of these grain elevators dotted along the UP Transcon in Nebraska - lots of rare engines eking out their retirement in out of the way places.
