I'm trying to like them! But it's hard! Anyway, whilst waiting for an engineers train the 1A83 12.15 Plymouth to London Paddington came along at 13.12, a few minutes down, but inexplicably losing many more minutes after passing me, around the Somerton area. This GWR I.E.T. set is made up of two Class 802/0s nos. 800018 & 800002. One day I'll be glad I photographed these trains...that’s what I keep telling myself. But the spring flowers add some welcome colour to the embankment.
