Class 47/4 no. 47455 is framed by the footbridge as it stops at the station for a short moment. It's working the 11.50 Aberdeen to Nottingham service, an unusual route I thought. I'm guessing it's a summer-only service that would have travelled down the East Coast Mainline to York, and onward to the East Midlands. Withdrawn from service in 1990, 47455 was scrapped at Crewe in 1995.
