Class 50 no. 50038 "Formidable" rolls in from the far west on the 12.03 Penzance to Plymouth local stopping service. The branch to St. Blazey and on to Newquay veers off to the left of the station. I'm standing on the footbridge, which gives good views in both directions. Oh to be standing here again to witness loco-hauled local trains in Cornwall!
