Loco hauled trains are returning to the Rhymney branch in South Wales! Who would have thought it! Colas Rail are providing the traction, and after a period of maintenance 37421 was despatched south to the Principality today to prepare for the start of these services, the hauled stock standing in whilst multiple unit stock is refurbished. At 10.45 the driver makes a spirited departure from the station after arriving a few minutes before, working the 0Z37 10.00 Nottingham Eastcroft to Canton Sidings, Cardiff. A lovely sound!
