4th Sept 1991

An exterior view of the station. The original building was constructed in 1845 by the Norwich and Brandon Railway, and was extended in 1889. The extension was built in brick, whilst the original building, on the left, was built of knapped flint. The date of 1889 and the station name is above the entrance on the extension. I'm no expert on architecture but I can tell that this station is a pretty impressive building for a rural Norfolk town on a cross country route.
