13th July 2004

At 10.30 in the morning BC Rail Dash 8-40CM units nos. 4603 and 4625, spliced by Dash 9-44CWC no. 4650, are switching their train of coal gondolas out of, and then back in to the BC Rail yard at North Vancouver. The yard is close to the closed BC Rail passenger station, and this shot is near McKeen Avenue.
With just two days to go before the railroad was absorbed into CN, I'm pretty "well chuffed" with myself for catching a genuine BC Rail train before it joined the long line of North American "fallen flags"
