Top and tailed Class 67s were operating some of the Cardiff to Taunton trains at the time. Here is DB Schenker-liveried 67018 "Keith Heller" leading the 2C79 14.00 Cardiff Central to Taunton service, with 67016 tagging in the rear, photographed at 14.23 as it passes under the flyover. Loco-hauled services on this route lasted for a few years in the "noughties".
