Staff training on the new InterCity Express Train, the “IET”, is well under way for fleet introduction later in the year. In fact, I believe that they were due to be introduced on some Paignton services by the end of July. Class 802 no. 802001 approaches Rockstone Footbridge at 11.35, working the 5Z51 10.44 Plymouth to Exeter St. Davids. The unit will return later in the afternoon.
