One of two narrow gauge railways located at Martigny, the Martigny-Chatelard Railway runs for 12 miles on metre gauge track to the resort of Chamonix. This 2-car EMU, no. 21, is one of 5 that were quite new at the time of this visit. It's seen in the station at 11.21, operating the "Mont Blanc Express".
