47645 "Robert F. Fairlie" heads north with the 10.17 Penzance to Manchester Piccadilly service, which it will haul as far as Birmingham New Street. After this loco was withdrawn, in February 1990 after a serious fire, the name was passed on to Class 37 no. 37422. 47645 was scrapped in Glasgow in 1992.
