In what was referred to as Inter City Executive livery, this northbound HST is operating the 13.34 Exeter St. Davids to London Paddington train. I did not take note of the power car numbers on this occasion.
That reminds me of my earlier days as a young train spotter when the HSTs were first introduced. In my naivety I started to record the set numbers on the front, rather than the individual power car numbers. For ages it puzzled me as to why so many power cars carried the same numbers, until I realised what I had been doing!
