After taking a couple of shots further north at Clifton & Lowther, I popped back south again, to find the clouds were thinning rapidly, revealing a bright sky. I was treated to the site of two northbound freights in just five minutes at Shap Beck. First up was this train, the 4S53 (Q) 05.31 Daventry International Railfreight Reception (FL) to Mossend - P.D.Stirling intermodal. 66565 heads the train at 10.01, with Shap Beck Quarry dominating the skyline.
