The 6C27 09.42 Carlisle North Yard - Shap Quarry ballast train normally has to run past its destination, and go as far as Tebay, to allow the engine to run-around and head back up the line, to enter the quarry. But on this day, because of earlier problems with the northbound 4S43 "Tescos", the train ran all the way to Carnforth to performs this move. Here it is passing Shap Wells southbound at 10.52 with 68018 "Vigilant" in charge.
