A close-up of nos. 106 and 105 nose-to-nose at New Smyrna Beach, two SD70M-2s in storage after being stood down by FEC. It's incredible to see such relatively new units stood idle, apparently out of work and replaced by something newer. I wonder if they will find work elsewhere? It's hard to imagine given the number of units the Class Is have kicking around.
