I'm very please with this view of the southbound "Silver Meteor", Amtrak's 3.15pm (6th Aug) New York Penn Station to Miami. Father and son wave to the engineer as it leaves Winter Park at 13.25, crossing the road on its way south. Constant generations of children have come to love trains, and this view illustrates this perfectly. As for the train itself, it was running just one hour behind schedule, and is headed by P42DC units nos. 818 and 131.
