Engineering work on the main line near Weston Super Mare has brought Arriva Cross Country to the Taunton to Westbury route. Since the demise of HSTs on Paddington services this section of line is now devoid of them, so it was pleasing to be able to capture 43303 leading 43378 on the 1V44 06.11 Leeds to Exeter St. Davids service, passing Wick at 10.43 on its slightly convoluted journey.
