24th Sept 1987

(1) Storm clouds brew in the distance as the rumble of English Electric power arrives at the station, in the form of 50005 "Collingwood" working the 09.11 Penzance to Plymouth local service. How civilised! There's lots to see in this view, with a variety of passengers and a whole fleet of luggage trolleys. The last time I was here I didn't recall seeing one trolley at all! The station has not changed much since the 1980s, semaphores still holding charge of all movements, Liskeard 'box being on the fringe of the Plymouth MAS area.
