These units are fairly new to this part of the First Great Western Railway network, being transferred over to Bristol from the London suburban services following electrification. 166212 pulls into the station at 10.24 with the 2D08 10.10 Western Super Mare to Bristol Parkway service, the two crew members having a chuckle about something, possibly even me, taking a photo of their train! The up side of the station is home to the main station booking office, and this interesting platform canopy, dating from earlier times.
