Tilbury Riverside, Essex

Tilbury Riverside closed on 30th November 1992, but prior to this, it was always a difficult station to reach, having a very limited service. It's existence was due to there being a ferry terminal here, but passengers are now bussed here from Town station, and Riverside is now an under-cover car park! There was always an ongoing discussion about this location amongst our group at the time that the eastern spur of the triangle of lines leading into Riverside was very hard to travel over. You could look back up the line towards Tilbury East Junction, but we never went over it!
