Diesel Gala & Beer Festival 2025: "Grid" no. 56090 puts on what power it is permitted to do so in order to get the 1N11 11.50 Norden to Swanage train underway, and is now easing off to approach Corfe Castle. The preserved 4VEP no. 3417 makes up the train. Heritage lines undoubtedly are great assets for the historical preservation of railways in this country, but the 25mph speed restriction does hamper true authenticity really. Nothing on the Swanage Railway really has to work hard, so it all seems very pedestrian unfortunately.
