Looking over the bridge parapet at Northbrook Road the "bijou" engine shed is easily viewed. In fat, this scene has hardly changed since. Today we find Class 08 no. D3591 (08476) and ex-Midland Railway (LMS) Fowler 1F no. 41708 on shed. Remarkably, the "08" is still resident at the railway, longer than it would have been with BR.
