W.S.R DIESEL FESTIVAL 2024: "InterVillage25"? Not exactly 125mph running here. Heading away at from the overbridge at Leigh Lane at 11.30, south of Stogumber, is this GWR HST "Castle" set, working the 1M11 11.00 Bishops Lydeard to Minehead service. Power car no. 43154 is at the front with no. 43155 here at the back. The set had come to the WSR for warm storage, having been taken out of service. It is possible/likely that these power cars and coaches may be heading overseas in the future. For the tine being though, a jaunt in deepest rural Somerset for this train....video here:
