SPRING STEAM SPECTACULAR 2024: On its first visit to the West Country, ever, is ex-LNWR veteran no. 1054, the Webb "Coal Tank" built in 1888. Arriving at Crowcombe Heathfield it has been entrusted with the 4W11 13.10 Bishops Lydeard to Williton goods service, carrying a few extra paying guest as well! One thing is for sure, it had plenty of steam to spare as it sat in the station for 15 minutes whilst waiting for an up train and the safety valves were lifting all the time!
