The 13.05 Swansea to Shrewsbury services is arriving at Llanelli, formed of Derby 2-car DMU set no. S958, comprising DMBS no. 51924 and DMCL no. 52038. The train will reverse here, tracing its route for a short distance before veering off up to Bynea and then on to the Central Wales Line. Remnants of the past show themselves to the right in the form of the old concrete platform lamps.
