With a "Go West" theme, this preview day featured steam and diesel, prior to the weekend's full diesel gala. So this could almost be a west country summer Saturday holiday train from the early 1980s! At 10.49 "Peak" Class 45/0 no. 45060 "Sherwood Forester" arrives at Harmans Cross with the 10.40 Swanage to Norden. The spring sun, gorse in bloom and bluebells in the cutting - bucolic would be the word I think.
