Withdrawn, partially stripped with the prospect of one inevitable last journey, what an ignominious end to on of the UK's last mixed traffic Type 4s. Class 50 no, 50014, formerly "Warspite" stands at Lipson Sidings during the open day. Taken out of service in December 19876 the loco would meet its maker at Vic Berry's scrapyard in Leicester in May 1989. That's an advertising blimp floating in the sky above!
