The Birrarung Marr inner-city park was developed on the site of some discussed railway sidings, and was built to honour the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people, who lived here at the time of European settlement. The William Barak Bridge forms part of that park and is noted for the sound of recorded words being spoken as you cross the bridge. This is where I was able to take some photos whilst exploring the city, and wonderful place to where I would happily return. In this view, looking back at the city backdrop, two 3-car Connex EMUs depart Flinders Street station.
