A new bridge on the Bolton Percy road is being replaced, hence the crane. This is in preparation for the planned electrification of this route. The route was closed over the Easter holiday, and had just reopened, allowing services to resume. At 09.24 ex-EWS Class 66 no. 66150 is taking the 6N31 07.26 Scunthorpe to Lackenby loaded steel train north, shortly joining the East Coast Main Line towards York. Later in the year the steel works closed.
