It looks as if there has been a recent shower, judging by the puddles on the platform and the moody sky beyond. BR Railfreight Class 37 no. 37670 is passing the 1893-built signal box with a westbound train of 4-wheel china clay hoods, those wooden-bodied vacuum-braked wagons, coded OOV, so distinctive and for always associated with Cornwall. I'm guessing that this train has come from Moorswater, off the Looe branch.
