13th June 2004 - Killarney, Co. Kerry
There was an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship match in town today, between Kerry and Cork, so a bit of local rivalry! This was a special train that brought in the Cork supporters and was stabled here in the sidings at 14.00, with 141 Class no. 152 and 181 Class no. 186 in charge. This would have been the twilight years of operations for these two classes. That's Cravens coach at the head of the train.

There was a wonderful atmosphere in town, with supporters from both sides all mixing together and having a great deal of fun. Kerry won the match and went on to win the championship that year.
