24th Aug 2007 - Gampola
The view of the station layout as seen from the southern end, looking north. Several sidings are alongside the main platform, and a goods shed still serves the railway. It looked to me to be a loading point for ballast or stone from a nearby quarry, or it could be the opposite and be an unloading point. A string of simple four-wheeled open wagons are in front of the shed, some loaded, some empty.
