Class 37072 races towards the station light engine. I had seen it earlier in the day working a north-bound MGR coal train, and now its heading back south towards Hereford. Not sure where the coal would have been headed. Shotton steelworks perhaps? Over on the left is the remains of the engine shed, and semaphores abound.

37072 remained in service until 1999, last wearing Departmental Grey (it's in rail blue in this shot). It was scrapped in 2004.
