(1) A sequence of three shots showing 2 Southern Pacific (alright, UP in reality) freights crossing in the siding. Under the shade of a tree, and in the company of photographer Herb Johnson, at 16.30 an east-bound manifest arrives, headed by 3 x SP SD40T-2 tunnel motors, nos. 8239, 8255 and 8263, with interloper UP SD50 no. 5023 tucked in as the second unit.
