It was quite early in the morning when we arrived (an even earlier start from home!). The driver of 08994 "Gwendraeth" has just started the engine and is checking around his steed, oiling the running gear where required, reminiscent of a steam-age driver! The profile of the cab shows the modification to allow it to clear the low bridges.
