It's almost a year since my last visit here, and a slightly different position on the B7055 road bridge gives me this view of 88008 Ariadne" and 88005 "Minerva" at 13.01 heading the 4S43 06.16 Daventry DRS to Mossend Euroterminal Tesco/Stobart Rail intermodal. The sun was tricky here, being almost right in line with the track, but this was one of those moments when having the sun go in was better than if it was out! I had shot this train early in the day at Shap Beck, and had managed to get ahead in plenty of time for this second view. The bridge over the Clyde is just around the bend, behind the trees.
