Lamington, South Lanarkshire (WCML)
Thanks to "Storm Frank" at the end of 2015, Lamington Viaduct nearly collapsed into the River Clyde, after torrential rain caused the river to swell to an alarming height, to just below the bridge deck. The line was subsequently closed and after much repair work the main line reopened on 22nd February 2016. It's a tranquil spot and quite a nice place to stop for a while to photograph trains, on calmer days though!
