North Walsham, Norfolk
North Walsham is a small town in rural Norfolk, so is the unlikely originating point for regular freight trains. Up to twice a week gas condensate trains for Harwich depart here. My first visit, in 1991, revealed a very unchanged traditional railway station, with steam-era infrastructure. It was a delight to see.
