"Winter Warmer" mini-gala: Approaching Harmans Cross at 11.24, 10 late, ex-SR U Class 2-6-0 no. 31806 works the 6N05 11.32 Herston Halt to Norden goods. The weather was bad - blustery wind and intermittent showers. It was fine before the train came but of course as it approached the heavens opened.
