Merehead Open Day: At the 1989 open day the weather was fantastic, warm and sunny and perfect for an outdoor event such a this. I'm sure that the organisers were relieved! Looking ahead here we see, left to right, 58012, 47063, 37350 (the former D6700, first of the Class and in BR green), 56001 "Whatley" and 47620 "Windsor Castle". As you can see, everyone was free to wonder amongst the exhibits.
