Standing on the access road bridge to the toll booths on the M4 you get superb views in either direction, west and east. Looking west at 17.05 we see Class 66 no. 66194 approaching on the 6O78 Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday-only 13.21 Margam to Dollands Moor steel train, the load destined for mainland Europe, just the type of traffic the Channel Tunnel was designed for! Shame it has never developed much further. Behind the loco is the site of the former loco depot.
