Passing Waterside at 12.50 preserved Class 40 no. 40145 "East Lancashire Railway" is on the last stretch of the Pathfinder Railtour "The Torbay Whistler", the 1Z40 06.29 Tame Bridge Parkway to Kingswear. This is the second year in a row that the Class Forty Presevation Society's locomotive has visited Devon, but I have a feeling that at the time of writing (2019) it has not been back since. It was a lovely warm and sunny day and the large logo livery gleamed, even if it's not right for this locomotive.
