Viewed from high up on the ramparts of the ancient Poundbury fort, this view shows the line crossing the River Frome over a graceful two-arch masonry bridge. At 14.44 Class 37/6 no. 37612 is pushing its PLPR train - the 3Q14 Westbury Down T. C. to Westbury Down T. C. via Dorchester Junction. I'll now dash ahead to catch it leaving Maiden Newton...I really loved those orange hues of the trees in the background, they really stood out in the late winter, early spring sunshine.
