Class 25 no. D7523 "John F Kennedy" - TOPS number 25173 - rests in the bay platform at Bishops Lydeard. In 2023 the "Rat" is based on the Battlefield Line, Leicestershire. Looking back over my spotting notes I first saw this engine double-heading a freight with no. 25177 through Hemel Hempstead station on 23rd December 1980!
