The DB Class 101 series of electric locomotives were built by Adtranz between 1996 and 1999, to replace the classic Class 103s. So when I saw these two they would have been fairly new and fresh out of the box! At 12.35 no. 101 008 is arriving on an unknown passenger service, passing classmate no. 101 006, which was stabled.
