2007 Beer Festival & Diesel Gala: It seems that I went back on the Sunday after spending a long afternoon on the railway on Saturday. At 15.00 at harmans Cross there is a busy scene from the bridge, and an atmospheric one too. Class 73 no. 73136 "Perseverance" stands with 4VEP no. 3417 having just arrived with the 2H16 14.50 Norden to Harmans Cross, whilst class-mate no. 73208 "Kirsten" waits to run out and back on to the other end of the unit. Meanwhile people mill about planning their next moves, or heading for the beer tent out of sight to the right.
