Part of the the station frontage, including the clock tower, seen during a bright spell in the afternoon. It's a lovely building but what a shame that the two refuse bins have to be parked right outside the main entrance! I hope I was just unlucky and it was "bin day" today, and that they are not permanently dumped here! Apart from the station, a garage, and a couple or three shops, there is nothing much to keep the traveller waiting here, most people using the station to transfer to the Caledonian MacBryne ferry service to Rothesay, Isle of Bute. personally I would ride the train just to spend time at the station.
