Wigton, Cumbria.

This is an unmanned station with slightly staggered platforms, but all of the station buildings seem to have gone, leaving just the elevated platforms remaining. Wigton Signal Box is a fringe box to Carlisle P.S.B. and still operates semaphore signals. There is also a siding adjacent to the up platform that once served the plastic packaging factory alongside the station, but this is no longer used for that traffic and seems to be geared up for providing access to road-rail maintenance vehicles. Sadly the town itself looks a bit down on its heels.
