Uffington, Oxfordshire
The station here, known as either Uffington, or Uffington Junction, was the junction of the Farringdon Railway, a short 3.5 mile branch to the town of Farringdon. Passenger service son the branch ended in 1951, and to freight in 1964, the same year as the closure of Uffington. Sir John Betjamin lived in Uffington for a while in the 1930s.
